Honest...I hope I do not end up with a lot of loot. Honestly, I DO NOT need any more beads. Although one of my favorite delica vendors will be there- The Queens Beads, her prices are fabulous. And I really do want to keep my eyes open for 2mm and 3mm bicones and interesting rounds. Then there is lamp work and pretty focal stones. Oh, and maybe some twin beads (no spikes!) LOL see, I DO NOT need any more beads. It will be fun and my feet will hurt.KJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02839682837427981888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3850328826819903057.post-33849807884232339222013-08-22T05:09:25.886-04:002013-08-22T05:09:25.886-04:00Now the blue trees sound wonderful, especially in ...Now the blue trees sound wonderful, especially in winter.

And, mass transit makes it possible for me to use the transit time to catch up on reading I would be doing anyway. I love mass transit. Of course, I don't like the 40 minute commute- but that is the nature of living in the NYC metro area.KJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02839682837427981888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3850328826819903057.post-67347970287942597842013-08-21T21:58:22.469-04:002013-08-21T21:58:22.469-04:00Beadfest..... Those masks are really fun.

We have blue trees at a plaza downtown - literally. As part of a public art installation all of the trees trunks and major branches were painted blue (with a non-toxic pigment) from ground level up to about two stories. It looked striking in winter, and ethereal with the fine green leaves this summer.

(And I agree entirely about your comment regarding mass transit, too). I love watching the change of seasons. Even better, when a fellow bus rider mentioned her "morning glories" I knew exactly where her garden was- it was a great way to make a new friend.KJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02839682837427981888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3850328826819903057.post-40014710640671958932013-08-19T17:46:33.323-04:002013-08-19T17:46:33.323-04:00They really are very nice pieces of art. You'd think, same old places, same paths, but how you look really determines what you see.
