Still Unpacking

I took pictures of the mess progress I have made on my apartment, but it is almost 6 p.m. Sunday and I am too darn tired to find the camera and edit the pictures.

I went to my local Target store, a mere 3.5 miles away, Saturday morning, looked up and realized that I could see the new World Trade Center being built.  It was a joyful surprise.  Once I get unpacked and through the lengthy training I am going to have to explore.

In the meanwhile, here is the picture I snapped at Target:

  1. There was definitely no Target when I lived in Jersey City, so that's progress!

    1. Target is a temptation for me to overspend. I have been getting much better at walking away from all their pretty displays. Packing and unpacking is a huge lesson in realizing just how much stuff I have.

  3. KJ, I've been off-line for so long I didn't know that you had moved to the Big Apple - my daughter lives there too and loves it. Hope your move went smoothly and you are settling in comfortably.
Though huge cities usually make me nervous, I do want to get up there to see the new World Trade Center when it is all completed - what a beautiful tribute it is and will always be to the thousands who lost their lives on 9/11/01.

    1. You will enjoy the visit. NY has much to discover. Just be sure to come in the spring or autumn when the weather is neither too hot nor too cold.
