Holy. Cow. This made me gasp out loud when I saw it -- spectacular! Congratulations on finishing, and on conquering all the challenges you encountered along the way. It is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bobbie. The structure is just like I visualized but the pieces that made the structure were all a challenge. Even the herringbone strap- it broke in two when I finally finished this morning!

ReplyDeleteThank you Lori. I fell in love with the turquoise slab more than a year ago and I am glad I can show it off.
DeleteWow!! what a stunner. I've loved following the progress of this piece, and the finished item is truly wonderful, well done :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynsey. It was a long process. I have 4 more turquoise slabs to work my way through. The next time it will not be quite so much a trial and error process.
DeleteLove the color combination - love the beautiful, beaded, bezel on the turquoise slab - love, love, love each of the 3 lovely strands that you made and adore the way you brought everything together. It's FANTABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteI'm just getting caught up on blog reading, but this is gorgeous--worth the work! I LOVED READING ABOUT THE MAKING OF IT.
ReplyDeleteOops, didn't mean to type that last part in all caps--it looks like I'm shouting!
ReplyDeleteIt looked like you were enthused! Glad you enjoyed it. I am glad it is done, I was glad to have it to show off this weekend when I went to visit family, and I am looking forward to the next piece.
